Yes. Deposit accounts are insured by the FDIC* for up to $250,000. You can call them at 1-877-ASK-FDIC or for more information you may visit our branch or call to speak to a Community Banker at 516.248.4868.

*FDIC does not apply to safe deposit boxes.

How do I open a Hanover Community Bank checking account?

Visit our branch and speak to any of our Community Bankers.  All you need are two forms of ID and we will be able to open an account for you.
