The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence will host its "2009 Annual Spring Gala", Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 6:30 p.m. at The Carltun in Eisenhower Park. Members of the public are invited to this premiere event honoring two of Long Island's leading business leaders. Fabulous auction and raffle prizes and great entertainment will be hosted by one of Long Island's top event planners, Christopher H. Robbins of Robbins Wolfe Eventeurs! Tickets are $175 per person. The Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence is the exclusive provider of comprehensive services for adult and child victims of domestic violence, victims of elder abuse and victims of sexual assault in the county. It operates a 24-hour domestic violence and rape hotline and a safe home for abused families. The Coalition also works to prevent domestic violence and to educate the community, schools, medical, human services and law enforcement professionals about the issue. The agency is committed to eradicating domestic violence and sexual assault in our community and depends heavily on donations and gifts from individuals and businesses to sustain its efforts. This Annual Spring Gala provides the organization with the critically needed funding in order to help keep Nassau County safe! ###
